San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club
Planning for the 2010 Wildflower Ride is underway. The ride is on Saturday April 24 and begins in Creston. The ride is full; registration closed in six hours, a strong statement about the quality of our rides.
We’ll have new routes and a new rest stop location this year! All routes will leave town on O’Donovan Road and the 100 mile route will travel on Las Pilitas Road. The rest stops in Pozo and on Park Hill Road will be combined into a new rest stop a the CDF Fire Station on Park Hill Road, one mile south of Hwy 58. Mark Lyon is still seeking a few volunteers for Traffic Control and the lunch stop in Shandon .

The volunteer meeting will be on Thursday, April 22 at 7 PM at the SLO - County Library.

All volunteers and guests must respond by April 11th. Guests will pay $32 It is very important to cancel no later than April 11th or the club will be charged $32.

All Wildflower volunteer are invited to do the pre-ride.
The official start for the pre-ride will be in Creston by the elementary school where we will have coffee, pastry, and route slips beginning at 6:30am. Lunch will be in Shandon including sandwiches, salads, and desert with each of the other rest stops stocked with water, fruit, and snacks. In order to help plan your ride for the day, rest stop locations and times for the 2010 Pre-Ride are listed below.

Volunteer captains should plan to attend the postmortem meeting, which will be on Tuesday, April 27 at 6 PM at the Windows on the Water Restaurant, Marina Square, 699 Embarcadero #7, Morro Bay (see map). There wil be coffee and dessert.
