San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club
Thank you to our members for filling all of the captains’ spots. We still need volunteers for Clean-up, Course Marking, Food Ordering (Truck Loader) Communications, the Lunch Stop in Shandon, some Rest Stops and Traffic Control. If you are able to volunteer, please contact Mark Lyon at lyonm@charter.net.

The volunteer meeting will be on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 7 PM at the SLO - County Library.
You are not automatically included as a volunteer. You must Indicate that you are attending when you make your volunteer choices. The brunch will be held Sunday, September 29, 10:30 am It will be at the

All volunteers and guests must respond by April 11th. Guests will pay $32 It is very important to cancel no later than April 11th or the club will be charged $32.

Be sure to clear your selection if you can not attend (or contact Patti Van Orden).
All Lighthouse volunteer are invited to do the pre-ride.
The Volunteer Pre-Ride will be held on Saturday, April 21rd in Creston. The Pre-Ride offers all three routes and will be fully supported with SAGs, rest stops and a lunch stop at Clarke Park in Shandon. Please indicate your Pre-Ride route at the member site or by contacting Tommy Potter.

The official start for the pre-ride will be in Creston by the elementary school where we will have coffee, pastry, and route slips beginning at 6:30am. Lunch will be in Shandon including sandwiches, salads, and dessert with each of the other rest stops stocked with water, fruit, and snacks. In order to help plan your ride for the day, rest stop locations and times for the 2012 Pre-Ride are listed below.

Volunteer captains should plan to attend the Post Mortem meeting. The meeting will be held on Monday, April 30 at 6 PM at Windows on the Water Restaurant at 699 Embarcadero, Morro Bay. This is a dessert meeting. Please bring your captains' folders and your completed captain's report.
