San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club
Planning for the 2011 Lighthouse Ride is underway. The ride is on Saturday, September 24 and begins at Cuesta College. Registration opens at noon on Sunday, June 5, 2011.
Ernest Cole is looking for lots of volunteers and captains.
If you can help out please use the volunteer Form to indicate how you can help (login at the private member's area, then go to Volunteer).
The volunteer meeting will be on Thursday, September 22 at 7 PM at the SLO - County Library.

All volunteers and guests must respond by September 12th. Guests will pay $32 It is very important to cancel no later than September 21st or the club will be charged $32.

All Lighthouse volunteer are invited to do the pre-ride.
The official start for the pre-ride will be at Cuesta College by the tennis courts in the back of the school. We will have coffee, pastry, and route slips beginning at 6:30am. Lunch will be in Shamel Park in Cambria including sandwiches, salads, and desert with each of the other rest stops stocked with water, fruit, and snacks. In order to help plan your ride for the day, rest stop locations and times for the 2010 Pre-Ride are listed below.

Volunteer captains should plan to attend the postmortem meeting, which will be on Tuesday, September 28 at 6 PM at TBD (see map). There wil be coffee and dessert.
