18-June | 65 | 1100' | I was determined to to the entire distance when I started, despite the morning rain. But after about 25 miles I noticed that my traveling companion was missing. A driver came by and told me he was stopped a ways back with problems. I rode back and found he had a flat. But the time we got it fixed, we were about an hour behind the group, so we had to bump up. As we rode, the rain finally stopped and the sun came out -- it was glorious. Along the way we saw vineyards -- the first I'd seen on the trip. We had a nice dinner and a relaxing evening. | Erie |
19-June | 0 | 0 | A nice day off. I got to sleep in until 7:00 (we've been getting up at 5:30 every morning). | Erie |
