On June 14, our friend, Carl Beerup, begins his personal challenge to cycle from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic. To meet this challenge, he has chosen the CycleAmerica coast-to-coast tour. In these pages you'll be able to follow his adventure.

Before the ride completes, Carl will travel through 13 states and one Canadian province (Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnisota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ontario, New York, Vermont, Maine, New Hamshire, and Massachusetts) and ride 4,200 miles. The tour duration is 63 days (55 of which will include cycling between 65 and 105 miles per day). He'll be camping the whole way.

Carl will be sending back periodic progress reports which will be posted here. Separate pages will be set up for each of the states below showing the route and Carl's progress. Click on the state name in the table to reach the individual pages.
