SLOBC Meetings
The SLOBC holds a series of monthly, semi-annual and annual meetings or events for members as described below. Those considering joining the club are invited to come to our monthly General Membership Meetings.
General Membership Meeting
The General Membership Meeting is held the first Thursday of each month. The meeting is open to all club members and those considering membership.
Board of Directors Meeting
The Board of Directors Meeting is held the Tuesday immediately preceeding the General Meeting date. The meeting is open to all club members.
Farmer's Market Support
The SLOBC has a booth at the downtown Farmer's Market the third Thursday of each month. Everyone is invited to stop by. Club members hand out materials and answering questions from people interested in the SLOBC. One benefit of volunteering for this enterprise is being able to eat the wonderful food served at the market!
Potluck
The June and December General Membership Meetings take the form of potluck dinners. They are open to all club members. Check the newsletter in the month prior to the potluck to find out what you should bring (main course, salad or desert) based on the first letter of your last name.
Club Picnic
Each August the SLOBC holds a picnic that is open to all club members. There are fun and games followed by a delicious BBQ. Generally we will also organize rides from Morro Bay and Arroyo Grande to the picnic.
