Again this year we've laid out a set of Brevet Rides to be conducted in the
area around San Luis Obispo County. Again you can use our web site
to register online, get information (including starting time, location and route)
about each of the rides, find out who else is planning to participate, and get
useful information about the San Luis Obispo area. | |
Before you sign up, you need to understand that these rides have been
setup for ULTRADISTANCE cyclists. They are sanctioned, unsupported rides to help
these cyclists prepare for the 1200K events. | | Please

| The first step is to REGISTER.
We'll collect the information you provide and add you to the list of registered
riders within a couple of days. We require a signed copy of the RELEASE
with your entry fees prior to your participation. You can send them to Kevin
Main, 401 E. Street, Cayucos, CA 93430.. | |
The next step is to find out about the four rides, whose dates are

| We are maintaining a list of REGISTERED
PARTICIPANTS at this site. This link will also contain statistics
on the participants' results, as they occur. | |
You can find useful informaiton about the San Luis Obispo area, such
as places to stay and the many restaurants at VISIT
SLO. | |
Finally, please reveiw the set of RULES that
apply to these rides. The following rule is highlighted If American riders
plan to qualify for PBP, it is necessary for them to - - Be members
of RUSA, the American sanctioning agency for domestic riders. All American riders
must have their PBP application handled through RUSA.
- Have a valid RUSA
membership number, prior to the first brevet of the season.
There
will be no exceptions to these rules - if the rider is not a member of RUSA his/her
PBP application will not be processed, and if the rider has no valid RUSA membership
number, his/her brevets will not be certified for PBP qualification. |
