Promoting trail maintenance, access and etiquette.

SLOBikeValet
...an interactive website created for your shift registering and information gathering pleasure! The Farmer's Market Valet is a weekly Bicycle Parking Service offered by the SLO County Bicycle Coalition and Team SLO Nexus to the community. It operates from 6 to 9pm every Thursday on the corner of Morro and Higuera Streets. Park your bike for free, and volunteers will watch it for you while you enjoy the evening! Oh, and don't forget to sign up for a volunteer shift and become part of the bike valet family.
Cal Poly Wheelmen
The Cal Poly Wheelmen is a group of students dedicated to the sport of cycling. From cross country mountain biking to road racing, to cross biking, to downhill, to slalom racing, we cover just about every spectrum of cycling there is. The Wheelmen is made up of men and women of all cycling abilities.
SLO Nexus Mission
  • To exemplify the values of teamwork and mutual support in amateur cycling
  • To foster the continued education, development, and support of new and experienced competitive cyclists
  • To align with established advocacy organizations to promote the benefits of cycling to the broader community, both as a sport and as a viable and practical means of transportation
“...committed to our educational programs, junior developmental teams, and the future of amateur stage racing; while establishing an umbrella of information and support for San Luis Obispo, along the Central Coast.”

San Luis Obispo Regional Rideshare

Our goal is simple: we are dedicated to reducing the number of single occupant vehicles on San Luis Obispo County's road and highways and to provide alternatives to the drive-alone vehicle.

The site provides an interactive transportation tool for residents and visitors to the county looking for a bus, shuttle, carpool or vanpool.

San Luis Obispo City Bicycle Advisory Committee
The Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) provides oversight and policy direction on matters related to bicycle transportation in San Luis Obispo and its relationship to bicycling outside the city.
California Bicycle Coalition
Create a new cycling culture in California communities by harnessing public and private resources to make our streets and trails good places to ride, to educate bicyclists and motorists regarding their respective rights and responsibilities, and to promote competent bicycling as a safe, clean, fun and healthy means of transportation and recreation.

We are accomplishing this by developing and promoting legislation and by representing bicyclists and the bike industry at the Capitol in Sacramento.

California Association of Bicycling Organizations

CABO fosters and promotes a favorable climate for bicycling in California by:

  1. Serving as a forum and information clearing house for bicycle clubs and other bicycle groups
  2. Representing the interests of cyclists before the appropriate governmental bodies to protect their rights and promoting laws, policies, and actions that treat cyclists equitably
  3. Any other activities not specified in 1 or 2, but which reasonably relate to the purpose.
Thunderhead Alliance
The Thunderhead Alliance is the national coalition of state and local bicycle advocacy organizations working in unison to break down the barriers to safe bicycling in American communities. We bring leaders of our member organizations together to help each other grow their organizations and become more effective.
International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA)
IMBA creates, enhances and preserves trail opportunities for mountain bikers worldwide. Since 1988, IMBA has been bringing out the best in mountain biking by encouraging low-impact riding, volunteer trailwork participation, cooperation among different trail user groups, and innovative trail management solutions.
